About the Role
Reign's CarePlus Pharmacy is a brand-new community pharmacy opening in Ashbourne. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused OTC Assistant to join our team and play an important role in the successful launch of the pharmacy.
The successful candidate will assist customers with over-the-counter healthcare products, provide excellent customer service, support stock management, and help maintain a welcoming and professional pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
- Assist customers with OTC medicines, healthcare products, vitamins, and skincare products within your scope of practice.
- Refer customers appropriately to the pharmacist when required.
- Process sales and operate the till efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with stock ordering, stock control, and stock replenishment.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and presented to a high standard.
- Support merchandising activities, promotional displays, and seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with receiving and checking deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional retail environment.
- Support the pharmacy team with daily operational activities.
- Participate in health promotion initiatives and community events.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy is essential.
- Experience in an OTC Assistant role is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, proactive, and professional.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
