About the Role
Due to continued expansion, We at Freedom Mobility are currently recruiting for a WAV (Wheelchair accessible Vehicle) converters to join our team in our Ballinrobe site.
The successful candidate will work on adapting vehicles to provide safe, reliable and high-quality solution for wheelchair users.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out lowered-floor vehicle conversions
· Install wheelchair ramps and lifts
· Fit wheelchair restraints and occupant safety systems
· Complete vehicle trim and interior modification
· Ensure all work meets safety and quality standers
Essential skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Good attention to detail
· Competent with hand and power tools
Desirable skills
· Experience in Vehicle conversions, fabrication or assembly
· Welding or fabrication skills
Mechanical experience
