Help shape the next chapter of Zona Dance Company.
For over fifteen years, Zona Dance Company has been dedicated to exceptional dance education, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment where children and young people can grow in confidence, creativity and self-expression.
As Zona enters its next chapter, we are looking for an exceptional person to help strengthen and grow the organization behind our creative work.
This is not a traditional administration role. We are looking for someone who takes genuine ownership, sees opportunities, solves problems, builds better systems and follows things through to completion.
Working closely with the Artistic Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day business operations of Zona Dance Company, support an exceptional experience for our families and staff, and help drive sustainable business growth.
Key areas of responsibility
- Business operations, systems and process improvement
- Customer experience, inquiries and enrollment
- Customer retention and program growth
- Financial and payroll administration
- Staff administration and operational support
- Events, examinations and program coordination
- Business development and revenue growth
A key measure of success in this role will be the ability to identify and support opportunities for sustainable revenue growth, improved enrollment, stronger retention and increased operational efficiency.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, thinks ahead and completes tasks.
You will have strong judgement, exceptional organization and excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work independently, manage competing priorities and find practical solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong English-language proficiency, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident computer literacy, including email, word processing, spreadsheets and everyday business software
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately
- Previous experience in business operations, administration, customer service, project coordination or another relevant field
- The ability to demonstrate initiative, ownership and independent problem-solving
A third-level qualification is desirable but not essential. We value demonstrated ability, relevant experience and evidence of achievement over qualifications alone.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have taken ownership, improved business operations or working processes, solved significant problems, and delivered measurable results through business growth, increased revenue, improved efficiency or stronger customer retention. Experience in the dance or creative industries is not required.
25–30 hours per week | September–June | €22–€23 per hour
Monday and Saturday availability is essential, Tuesday – Thursday, hours flexible
