About us
We sell doors and flooring from our showroom in Lobinstown, Co. Meath. Our customers are homeowners in the middle of a build or a renovation, along with the builders and fitters buying for jobs. It’s a small team. This role has one thing at the centre of it, and that’s selling.
The work itself
Someone walks in with a hall to floor or eight internal doors to replace. Your job is to work out what’s needed, show them what fits the budget, price it and get the order. Then follow up the quotes that don’t close on the day, because plenty of them don’t.
You’re also the voice on the phone. A lot of our business comes back a second and third time, and that usually starts with how the first call went.
Day to day
- Sell on the showroom floor. Work out what the job needs and ask for the order.
- Answer the phone. A good share of our enquiries start there.
- Price and issue quotes, then chase them until you get a yes or a no.
- Look after the builders and fitters who buy from us regularly, so they come back to us instead of ringing around for a better price.
- Enter and manage orders on our sales system and keep your own quote list up to date.
- Keep the showroom presentable and help with photos and content for our social pages.
Who we’re after
You’ve sold to people face to face before. That might be a showroom, a trade counter, retail or hospitality. It doesn’t have to be doors or flooring; we’ll teach you the product.
Beyond that:
- You’re comfortable walking up to someone you’ve never met and asking for the sale.
- You’re organised enough that a quote never gets forgotten about.
- You’ve good English, written and spoken, and you can find your way around Excel, Word and Outlook.
- You’ve your own transport. We’re in Lobinstown and there’s no bus.
Handy but not essential: experience in doors, flooring or the building trade, and a decent eye for a photo.

- €30,000 – €35,000 DOE
- Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.30
- Parking on site
- Product training from our suppliers, so you know the ranges before you’re selling them
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
