Work as an Childcare Practitioner providing high quality and best practice standards in relation to all aspects of childcare and early learning.
Work in close co-operation with management in relation to the overall delivery of service provided by the Service.
Work with staff to provide a team approach to delivery of childcare and education of the highest standard with reference to Aistear and Siolta.
Assist in maintaining up to date necessary records in compliance with the most recent Childcare Pre-school Services Regulations.
Be responsible for the health, safety and well being of the children
To raise awareness of any possible hazards or risks within the service.
Assist with the design and implementation of a stimulating programme underpinned by a holistic approach, enhancing the child’s natural growth and development.
Ensure the protection of children in accordance with Children First: National Guidelines for the Protection and Welfare of Children 1999.
Promote the Service by giving a good professional image to parents and visitors.
Greet and meet parents in an appropriate manner at all times
Attend and participate in meetings or training as required.
Confidentiality to be maintained with regards children, their families and staff members.
Be knowledgeable of all policies and procedures and to follow them accordingly. Take on other responsibilities as reasonably requested by Management.
Minimum Qualification: FETAC 5 / FETAC 6 Early Learning Care and Education Major award, or Degree Level 7/8
Remuneration will be in line with experience and qualifications. (All positions are paid above ERO rates)
Open hours 8.00am - 6.00pm
Full-time
38.75 hours per week, Alternating shifts.
8.00am - 4.15pm
9.00am - 5.15pm
Fluent in English / spoken and written.
Pay: €15.50-€19.50 per hour
