THERAPY ASSISTANT
EAST LIMERICK HILDRENS SERVICES, LIMERICK
PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week) &
PERMANENT PART-TIME CONTRACT (30 Hours Per Week).
Salary: 36,651- 45,939
- Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Avista in partnership with the HSE are lead agency of East Limerick Children Services, a Childrens Disability Network Team operating in Limerick. We are looking for candidates who are committed to supporting children with complex needs and disabilities and their families, in a family and person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.
Essential:
- Full FETAC 5 QQI award healthcare qualification
- Full clean manual Irish driving licence.
- Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
- Willingness to support children/young people to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of priority and interest.
- Confident using IT systems and software applications.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Applicants should possess Level 1 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
You will join the 0-18 childrens disability network team and be engaged in practice routed in a family centred practice approach. You will be working within a highly motivated team and contribute to collaborative working with children, their families and the team. You will provide services in line with interdisciplinary approaches in relation to interventions and assessments. ELCS CDNT is operated under on principles and a policy framework based on Progressing Disability Services program within Ireland.
