ES Design Engineering Ltd is a well-established stainless steel fabrication company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality catering equipment and bespoke sheet metal products. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced, fully qualified Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our expanding team.
The Role
You will be involved in the manufacture of a wide range of bespoke stainless steel products, including commercial catering equipment, counters, fabrication projects and architectural metalwork. This is a hands-on role requiring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabrication and assembly of stainless steel and sheet metal products.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- TIG welding and finishing to a high standard.
- Operating fabrication machinery including guillotines, press brakes, rollers and other workshop equipment.
- Working with both one-off bespoke projects and production runs.
- Ensuring all work meets our high quality standards.
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Fully qualified Sheet Metal Fabricator.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience preferred.
- Experience working with stainless steel and commercial catering equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Excellent TIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
