Location: Limerick based with multiple project sites nationally (primarily Munster with travel required with vehicle provided)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Modular On site Finishing Foreman / Supervisor to oversee and complete the finishing stages of modular building projects across multiple sites. This role combines practical trade skills with site supervision responsibilities, requiring the successful candidate to lead installation teams, coordinate finishing works, maintain quality standards, and actively participate hands on in carpentry and finishing activities.
Site Supervision & Team Management
· Lead and supervise site finishing crews during installation and completion phases.
· Allocate daily tasks and manage workforce productivity.
· Monitor attendance, performance, and workmanship standards.
· Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
· Liaise with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients.
· Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project programmes.
Hands-On Finishing & Carpentry
· Carry out carpentry, joinery, snagging, and finishing works as required.
· Complete module-to-module connections and finishing details.
· Install doors, skirting, architraves, flooring, wall panels, ceilings, and other fit-out elements.
· Assist with remedial works and quality rectifications.
· Support commissioning and handover activities.
Quality Control
· Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
· Identify and resolve defects and snagging items.
· Maintain accurate snagging records and progress reports.
· Ensure client expectations and project specifications are achieved.
Planning & Coordination
· Coordinate material deliveries and site resources.
· Monitor progress against programme milestones.
· Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
· Assist in planning labour requirements and site logistics.
Health, Safety & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with all company health and safety procedures.
· Carry out site inspections and risk assessments as required.
· Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and access systems.
· Report accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
Essential Requirements
· Qualified Carpenter / Joiner or equivalent trade qualification.
· Minimum 10 years' experience in construction finishing works.
· Previous supervisory or foreman experience.
· Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
· Ability to manage and motivate site teams.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
· Full clean driving licence.
· Willingness to travel and work on sites throughout Ireland as required.
Desirable Requirements
· Safe Pass, or equivalent supervisory safety qualification.
· Manual Handling and Working at Height certification.
· First Aid certification.
· Experience in modular healthcare, education, residential, or commercial projects.
