SETU’s IT Project Management Office is now seeking to recruit an ICT Senior Technical Officer to support integration of ICT systems along with new ICT initiatives that impact its large user base. The job requires an individual with a broad-based knowledge of enterprise level ICT systems and technologies. Reporting to the ICT Programme Manager, the ICT Senior Technical Officer (Project Lead) role is a senior technical lead role within SETU ICT organisation. They will be responsible for supporting the ongoing migration / integration of all relevant ICT systems and services.
The ideal candidate will work closely between internal ICT teams and external service providers where appropriate, helping to coordinate technical requirements and align them with the operational and strategic needs of the University. They will have experience coordinating technical input from multiple stakeholders, supporting ICT integration priorities, new ICT initiatives and facilitating communication across technical and non-technical audiences with a strong background in the prompt delivery of services, while following best practices. They will have demonstrated an ability to strategically oversee third party vendors, providers and ongoing services. They will have a demonstrated history of delivering advice and guidance to all relevant stakeholders.
