Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaner Supervisor to join our team in Galway. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing cleaning operations, managing a team of 9 cleaning staff, and ensuring high standards of service delivery across all assigned sites.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess strong communication and IT skills, and be comfortable working a rotating roster that may include morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of 9 cleaning staff.
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to the required standards and within scheduled timeframes.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Complete and maintain cleaning reports and audit documentation.
- Carry out and submit ECA Patrol Reports.
- Upload and manage staff rosters using Timegate.
- Monitor staff attendance, performance, and compliance with company procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
- Ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaise with management and clients regarding operational requirements and service standards.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within the cleaning industry.
- Proven experience managing a team of staff.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with reporting systems and roster management software.
- Ability to complete reports, audits, and operational documentation accurately.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a rotating roster.
