Department:
You will report directly to the People & Culture Director, while managing all travel arrangements for our employees and clients
Job Summary:
The role requires a highly organised and detail orientated person who will thrive in a fast paced environment and who will plan and lead on all elements relating to the travel arrangements of our employees and clients. The Travel Coordinator must have a proactive approach, have the ability to prioritise, work under pressure while still ensuring excellent levels of customer service are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of the entire booking process, providing end-to-end assistance to employees/clients keeping them informed every step of the way.
- Oversee hotel/accommodation inventory delivery weekly costing reports to Line Manager
- Build positive relationships with suppliers actively seeking discounted rates for repeat business
- Handle telephone calls, correspondence and associated administration from employees, travel companies and hotels.
- Answer queries from employees, make recommendations and endeavour to solve any problems.
- Liaise with employees that require itineraries and tailor these accordingly.
- Possess a clear understanding of Errigal’s preferred accommodation etc.

Criteria:
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively
- Strong Customer Service skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A flexible approach to work
- Proven experience working in a busy professional environment
- Experience in booking accommodation, air, sea, car hire and all transportation
- Knowledge of airlines that operate globally.
