Job Description
The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a high standard of resident care, ensuring that residents need sand safety are addressed;
- Treat all residents with courtesy and consideration and effectively report to Nursing Staff regarding changes to residents conditions and well-being;
- Maintain accurate records and documentation;
- Provide effective individualised / person-centered care;
- Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of work at all times;
- Maintain a high standard of work performance, attendance, appearance and punctuality;
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of the HIQA standards;
- Report all incidents / accidents and equipment failure to the Nurse in charge;
- Participate n regular clinical supervision and annual staff performance appraisals;
- Participate in mandatory and supplementary training as identified
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner to residents their families and vistiors.
Essential Criteria:
- The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in working with older people;
- Must hold a valid Healthcare qualification of FETAC level 5 or equivalent;
- Have a passion for working with older people;
- Have good communication skills
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous Nursing Home experience;
- Knowledge of Health & Safety;
- Dementia Care

Experience:
- Healthcare: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (required)
