Responsible for helping with the day-to-day running of a warehouse. Typical duties include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries.
- Loading and unloading goods.
- Picking and packing customer orders.
- Moving stock around the warehouse using equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts, where authorised.
- Labelling and organising products.
- Checking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Preparing orders for dispatch.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe.
- Following health and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Operating a Reach and Counterbalance Forklift
This role requires good physical fitness, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment. Experience is often helpful but may not always be required, as training can be provided. Having a Forklift licence will be a distinct advantage.
