The Connacht Hotel are recruiting an experienced Part Time Bartender to join our award winning team. This exciting career opportunity will be reporting to the Bar Manager.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Meet and greet customers on arrival
- Up selling of products and services
- Serve customers their beverages promptly and courteously
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
- Be fully aware of the bar drink menu and products offered
- A real passion for creating high end cocktails, wines and spirits and have the ability to recommend and advise to guests
- Ensures that their working area and station are stocked and kept clean and tidy at all times
- Have a full knowledge of alcohol and liquor policies and regulations
- Excellent guest service skills always exceeding guest expectations
- Enjoy a high level of guest interaction and believe giving the highest standard of service at all times.
- Be committed to continual personal and professional improvement.
- Ensures that their working area and station are stocked and kept clean and tidy at all times
- Complying with the Groups policies and procedures

Professional requirements and Experience:
- Fluent English is essential
- Minimum of 2 years continuous working experience (full time) in a fast-paced food and beverage environment
- Be available to work flexible hours including evenings & weekends
