Counterparty & Referential Management Officer:
Your role
For one of our clients in the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced Counterparty & Referential Management Officer to support the management of counterparty data, outsourcing counterparties, due diligence activities, and related operational governance processes.
The assignment is highly operational and focuses on strengthening data quality, documentation management, counterparty oversight, and process efficiency within a regulated environment. The role also contributes to broader Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and outsourcing governance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the counterparty referential and outsourcing records.
Support onboarding, periodic reviews, and offboarding activities for counterparties and third parties.
Perform and follow up on due diligence activities and documentation requests.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality of counterparty data and supporting documentation.
Identify documentation gaps, missing information, and remediation actions.
Support Third-Party Risk Management and outsourcing governance activities.
Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and business stakeholders.
Track open actions and contribute to reporting and follow-up activities.
Support process improvements, governance initiatives, and operational controls.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Counterparty Management, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Vendor Management, Client Administration, KYC/Due Diligence, or Operations.
Experience within Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Insurance, or another regulated financial environment.
Good understanding of due diligence processes, documentation requirements, and third-party governance principles.
Strong attention to detail and data quality mindset.
Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills.
Fluent French and good English.
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), outsourcing governance, or supplier oversight frameworks.
Familiarity with DORA, EBA Outsourcing Guidelines, CSSF expectations, or similar regulatory requirements.
Experience with outsourcing registers, vendor registers, or referential data management.
Experience supporting operational governance or process improvement initiatives.
Where: Luxembourg, Full on-site presence in Luxembourg (5 days per week)
