About the Role
We are currently seeking an Experienced Qualified Plumber to join our growing team at Renmech Mechanical and Renmech Service & Maintenance. This is a hands-on role focused on residential and maintenance plumbing, offering steady work, excellent conditions, and long-term career progression.
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across properties, working independently and as part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential properties
- Carry out maintenance and emergency repair work as required
- Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions in real time
- Work on heating systems including gas, oil boilers, and heat pumps
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations
- Take responsibility for health and safety on site and lead by example
- Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work environment
- Complete any additional duties required for the efficient running of the business
Requirements
- QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft: Plumbing (essential)
- 2–4 years’ experience in a similar residential / maintenance role
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Plumbing systems and mechanical components
- Domestic hot & cold-water systems
- Heating system design, installation, and fault finding
- Gas, oil boilers, heat pumps, and appliances
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full, clean Irish driving license
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling
