Handsome Burger are on the look out for an experienced Front of House staff member (Server) to join the team!

This role is only suited to someone fully flexible and available to work each day from 11am.
The server is the face of Handsome Burger. They ensure that the guest is greeted with a warm welcome and that orders are taken in a friendly and timely manner. They make sure that guests receive their correct food and drink orders, answer inquiries relative to items on the menu, and otherwise attend to the needs of guests.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members.
- Answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation.
- Greet guests on their way in and out of the restaurant, inviting them to return.
- Take the entire order, repeat the order to the guest for clarification.
- Up-sell additional products when possible and appropriate.
- Run food for guests in their section, as well as for any other section in the restaurant.
- Check back after delivery of food to ensure guest satisfaction, & respond to any additional needs.
- Maintain table appearance by clearing finished plates, checking drink levels, removing clutter etc.
- Manage any cash handling correctly and responsibly.
- Keep the workstation clean and set up, and take down station tables appropriately.
- Keep the immediate supervisor informed of all problems or matters of significance. Take prompt corrective action where necessary, or suggest alternative courses of action.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner, following company policy.
- To execute any other tasks within the restaurant assigned by the direct supervisor/manager.
- Avoid breakage, and waste and help control costs.
- Follow and implement morning and evening cleaning procedures, as outlined.
- Check and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, toilets, and all public areas constantly.
Pay €14.50 per hour, plus a Sunday premium of €0.50 per hour.
Candidates must be available to work from 11am to 11pm each day throughout the year.
