Talbot Suites at Stonebridge, part of the Talbot Collection, are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position. The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

Main Duties:

Act as a key leader within the property, maintaining a visible presence and serving as one of the main faces of Talbot Suites at Stonebridge;

Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation and overall management of the property;

Work flexibly across a seven-day operation in line with business requirements;
-
Conduct regular inspections of apartments, carpark, public areas and operational departments to ensure the highest standards are maintained;

Carry out routine spot checks throughout the property to monitor quality, cleanliness and compliance standards;

Monitor team performance and drive operational standards through regular performance monitoring, coaching, support and accountability;

Ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standard across all departments;

Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure maintenance issues are identified, prioritised and resolved in a timely manner;

Review, update and manage staff rosters in line with operational requirements and labour budgets;

Assist with payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures;

Provide exceptional customer service, taking ownership of guest queries, feedback and complaints, and using guest insights as opportunities to continually improve the guest experience;

Complete all required administrative duties, reports and operational documentation;

Support the management of departmental budgets, labour controls and productivity targets, ensuring resources are utilised effectively while maintaining service standards;

Develop, mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and high performance;

Ensure all departments operate in accordance with company standards, policies and health & safety requirements;

Promote a culture of excellence, professionalism and operational consistency throughout the property.
The successful candidate must have:

Previous management experience within a hotel, hospitality, serviced apartment or accommodation environment;

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead by example;

Excellent organisational and administrative skills;
-
Experience with payroll preparation and staff rostering;
-
A strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on management style;

The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required;
