To help us achieve this, we are seeking an exceptional Global Publishing Partnerships Manager.
This is a strategic international role. You will identify, recruit and develop relationships with publishers, universities, professional bodies, corporations, NGOs, government agencies and leading Subject Matter Experts from around the world. Your work will directly influence the scale, quality and diversity of learning available to millions of people.

Reporting to Alison's senior leadership team, you will be responsible for expanding Alison's global publishing network and ensuring a continuous pipeline of high-quality educational content.
You will build long-term partnerships with organisations that already possess valuable educational content while also recruiting leading Subject Matter Experts to create entirely new learning experiences.
Working closely with Alison's publishing, instructional design, AI and production teams, you will help transform expertise into engaging online courses that can reach learners everywhere.
As artificial intelligence accelerates content creation, you will also identify innovative organisations and experts who can combine human expertise with AI-assisted publishing to create educational content faster than ever before.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Alison's global publishing partnership strategy.
- Identify and recruit publishers, universities, professional institutes, training organisations and educational content providers worldwide.
- Build relationships with corporations, NGOs, international agencies and government organisations capable of contributing educational content.
- Recruit outstanding Subject Matter Experts across every discipline to create new Alison courses.
- Identify emerging subject areas and future skills where new learning programmes should be developed.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and establish long-term collaborative relationships.
- Work closely with Alison's publishing, AI and production teams to deliver high-quality learning experiences efficiently.
- Represent Alison professionally with senior executives, academics, authors and industry leaders around the world.
- Monitor partnership performance and continuously identify opportunities for growth.
About You
You are an outstanding relationship builder who enjoys meeting new people, spotting opportunities and bringing ambitious ideas to life.
You have an international outlook and are comfortable engaging with organisations from different cultures, industries and educational systems.
Ideally you will have:
- At least five years' experience developing strategic partnerships within publishing, education, media, digital learning or related sectors.
- Experience negotiating commercial or strategic partnership agreements.
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and sound judgement.
- Outstanding organisational and project management abilities.
- Confidence engaging with senior decision-makers and recognised experts.
- An interest in education, technology, artificial intelligence and lifelong learning.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English. Additional languages would be an advantage.
