Production Operative – Evening Shift
Hazelnut Cuisine Ltd is looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our food-production team in Tullamore.
Hours: 1:00pm–10:00pm, five days per week.
Pay: €15.00 per hour.
Main duties
- Preparing and producing food products according to recipes and production schedules
- Repeatedly handling 25 kg bags of sugar safely throughout the production shift
- Accurately weighing and measuring ingredients
- Operating production equipment as trained
- Filling, labelling and packing finished products
- Picking and preparing orders using FIFO stock rotation
- Completing basic production and stock records
- Cleaning equipment and maintaining high hygiene and HACCP standards
- Following food-safety, quality and manual-handling procedures
Requirements
- Available for the full 1:00pm–10:00pm shift, five days per week
- Able to carry out the role’s repeated 25 kg manual-handling duties safely throughout the shift, following training and using lifting aids or team lifts where required
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable with physically demanding work
- Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Good hygiene standards and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transport to and from Tullamore for these shift times
- Legal right to work in Ireland
- Food-production, factory or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
Training will be provided.
