About Us:
Classic Windows is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Person to join our team in Cork. This is a fully office-based role, working 30 hours per week, with responsibility for managing key financial tasks and supporting the financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Recording and Reporting: Ensure all sales are accurately recorded, prepare daily sales reports, and highlight any issues to relevant departments.
- Daily Cash Control: Oversee the cash management of the office through daily income audits, and reconcile daily cash and credit card receipts. Monthly bank reconciliation.
- Internal Controls: Maintain internal control systems, identifying and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate department.
- Accounts Payable: Input purchase invoices via COINs into the accounting system, reconcile creditor statements, and address supplier queries.
- Supplier Payments: Prepare payments for suppliers, pending approval by the Financial Controller.
- Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing and conduct periodic reviews of aged debtors to ensure payments align with credit terms.
- Month-End Assistance: Support month-end activities, including Procure Wizard accruals, supplier account reconciliations, and more.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in accounts or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with accounting systems (experience with COINs is advantageous).
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
