Cpl Healthcare is hiring an Endoscopy Nurse for a leading private hospital in Dublin.
This hospital provides both day case and inpatient services, offering state-of-the-art facilities and a patient-centered approach to care.
As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
- Conduct holistic patient assessments and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, pain management, and recovery.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in hospital accreditation programs.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
Hospital Facilities Include:
- Operating theatres and diagnostic imaging department.
- Robotic-assisted surgery.
- Triple assessment clinic for urgent breast symptoms.
- Radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment departments.
- Cancer genetics service.
- Pathology and pulmonary function laboratories.
Essential Qualifications:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- 2 years post-qualification experience.
- Previous endoscopic experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Children First Certificate and GDPR Certificate.

Additional Information:
- Hours: 39 hours per week.
- Probation: 10-month probationary period (extendable if required).
- Health Requirements: Pre-assessment medical form submission required.
- Performance Reviews: Interim at 5 months, final at 9 months, and annually thereafter.
