The Afterschool Assistant supports the daily operation of the afterschool service, providing a safe, caring, and engaging environment where children can relax, play, complete homework, and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities.
Essential Requirements
● Minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Early Learning and Care (or equivalent).
● At least 1 year’s experience working with school-age children or in an early years setting.
● A genuine passion for working with children.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
● Reliable, enthusiastic, and flexible.
● Knowledge of Tusla Quality and Regulatory Framework and Child Safeguarding procedures.
● Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain it).
Pay: €15.00-€15.50 per hour
