Career Vision Recruiters are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious 5-star hotel in Kilkenny for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining the highest service standards, and leading a high-performing team within a luxury hotel environment.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring seamless service delivery, strong financial performance, and the continued development of a motivated and engaged team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of all Food & Beverage outlets and services.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional food and beverage service in line with 5-star standards.
- Maintain compliance with HACCP regulations, ensuring all stock is stored, handled, and rotated correctly.
- Manage departmental budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting.
- Monitor revenue performance, labour costs, and stock levels to maximise profitability.
- Drive guest satisfaction by maintaining outstanding service standards and professionally resolving escalated guest concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, coach, and inspire the Food & Beverage team to achieve excellence in service delivery.
- Ensure all team members receive ongoing training and development in line with luxury hospitality standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Department Manager, or in a senior hospitality leadership role is essential.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop successful teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, costs, and departmental performance.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a hands-on management style.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
