We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join our team at Forest Produce based in Tralee, County Kerry in the role of a Supply Chain Graduate Trainee. This will be a diverse role in which you will get an opportunity to engage in several aspects of the business, including Warehousing, Production and Operations, while specialising in Supply Chain Management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing a new database to support production planning and operational efficiency across the company’s global premium foliage operations. This will be a full time position and full training will be provided across several aspects of the company.
This role offers hands-on exposure to international supply chain operations, production planning, and data-driven decision-making within a growing premium product segment.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer Michelle Reid, who will assist with their development, training and upskilling with the necessary supports also being in place.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and project team to deliver the project in line with agreed plans and timelines
- Gain a thorough understanding of premium foliage production processes across Irish and European sites
- Collect, analyse, and document production and operational data from multiple locations
- Develop a detailed database system based on operational needs and data that has been collected and analysed
- Design and support the development and implementation of a database to improve production planning and efficiency
- Participate directly in operational processes of the company to fully understand what is required
- Provide regular progress updates to the operations team through scheduled meetings
The graduate will contribute to the company’s strategic growth through the following outcomes:
Identify and collect key production data for premium foliage products across multiple production sites which will enable the development of the database

Support the development of a database that enables efficient, effective planning for high-value premium products range
Introduce best practice operational and data driven approaches to support the expansion of the premium foliage business, highlighting the importance of the database and how it is to be used by the company.
Candidate Requirements
- Recent graduate (within four years of graduation) in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Suite.
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in supply chain operations, production planning, and database/system development
- Willingness to travel and work on-site across production facilities both in Ireland and abroad
- Ability to work under own accord and also collaborate with a team
- Drivers licence required
