As the Engineering Manager – Civil, Structural & Utilities, you will:
-
Provide strategic management of land and marine civil, structural, and utility assets across a large and complex estate.

Develop and deliver robust asset management strategies, ensuring reliability, safety, compliance, and lifecycle optimisation for critical infrastructure such as roads, pavements, marine structures, and utility networks.

Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary technical team, embedding a strong safety culture and fostering high performance.

Sponsor and guide capital projects, including readiness for new assets under the organisation’s masterplan, while collaborating closely with stakeholders and the Project Management Office.

Ensure engineering standards, compliance, robust governance, and continuous improvement across asset management and delivery.

A relevant 3rd level engineering qualification.

8–10 years’ engineering or asset management experience within civil, structural and/or utility infrastructure

Comprehensive knowledge of European and national health and safety legislation.

Proven track record in developing lifecycle strategies and leading technical teams.

Experience with procurement processes, technical tender evaluations, and contract management.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Desirable:

Asset Management training or certification.
-
Membership or working towards Chartership with Engineers Ireland.

Familiarity with CMMS/EAM tools (e.g., Pemac, Maximo, SAP PM).

Experience in port, maritime, or heavy industrial environments.
