Bluebird Care (Longford, Roscommon & Westmeath) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to provide high-quality, specialist care to a baby boy with complex medical needs in a home-based setting in Dunmore, Co. Galway. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver one-to-one care while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Position Details:
Location: Dunmore, Co. Galway
Hours: Night shifts (Monday to Friday, 5 nights per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
Provide specialised nursing care tailored to the baby’s clinical needs, including required interventions.
Monitor and manage the child’s overall health and wellbeing throughout night shifts.
Work closely with the family and multidisciplinary team to ensure person-centred care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports in line with professional standards.
Requirements:
Active registration with NMBI as RCN, RGN, RNID, or RM.
Experience in paediatric care (homecare or acute setting preferred).
Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Garda Vetting and full immunisation/vaccination records required.
