We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organised Duty Manager to join our team at an IPAS Accommodation Centre in North Dublin. As Duty Manager, you will work closely with the Centre Manager to provide a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for residents, ensuring services are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operation of the accommodation centre.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred support.
- Welcome new residents and coordinate admissions and inductions.
- Supervise the centre during shifts, ensuring health, safety, and security standards are maintained.
- Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
- Complete accurate reports, handovers, and documentation.
- Liaise with external agencies, contractors, and service providers.
- Support residents in accessing healthcare, welfare, education, employment, and other community services.
- Promote safeguarding, equality, dignity, and respect for all residents.
Essential Requirements
- QQI Level 5, 6, or Level 7 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, Community Development, Psychology, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience in social care, homelessness, IPAS, or a similar residential setting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible to work a 7-day roster, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to undergo Garda Vetting).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.
Pay: €28,300.00-€39,677.97 per year
