1. About JARU
JARU is a Dublin-based Korean food company making kimchi and Korean BBQ sauces for the Irish retail market.
We are entering an exciting stage of growth with a new distribution partner and a wider retail presence across Ireland. We are now looking for a friendly, confident and hands-on person to help us build strong relationships with stores and grow the JARU brand.
2. The Role
This is a varied, customer-facing role. You’ll divide your time between visiting stores and building relationships, and office-based work such as phone calls, emails, social media, planning and follow-ups.
You’ll work closely with our distributor and the JARU team, while being trusted to manage your own schedule and store relationships.
3. What You’ll Do
- Visit retail stores and build strong relationships with store managers and buyers
- Check stock levels, pricing, displays and product presentation
- Support new product listings and store launches
- Organise and run in-store tastings and promotional events
- Work with our distributor to identify sales opportunities
- Gather feedback from stores and customers
- Create simple social media content from store visits and events
- Support product launches and online marketing activities
- Keep clear records of visits, feedback and follow-up actions
- Occasionally transport products and tasting equipment using the company van
4. About You
You may already have experience in retail sales, food and beverage, hospitality or FMCG, but attitude and communication skills are just as important to us.
You should be:
- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with people
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Organised, reliable and good at following up
- Interested in food, retail and brand-building
- Comfortable using Instagram and other social media platforms
- Willing to travel to stores across Dublin and occasionally beyond
- A full driving licence and confidence driving a manual van are required.

- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work for tasting events
