We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our food manufacturing team, working across the preparation, production, and cooking areas of our factory. This is a hands-on role requiring precision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to product quality, hygiene, and food safety.
Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is desirable, but full training will be provided, including food safety and health & safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, production, and cooking of food products in a factory setting
- Use knives and kitchen tools safely and efficiently – good knife skills are essential
- Follow detailed recipes and production processes to ensure consistency and product quality
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately according to specifications
- Complete required production paperwork and records in line with EU legislation
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Follow “clean as you go” practices to keep work areas hygienic throughout the shift
- Ensure correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times
- Adhere to all site health & safety and hygiene procedures
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
- Be flexible and willing to learn new tasks or rotate between roles as needed
Candidate requirements:
- Understanding of written and spoken English to follow work instructions and production processes
- Complete required documentation accurately, as per EU legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Awareness of health & safety in the workplace
- Commitment to food safety standards – training provided
- Comfortable wearing and working with PPE in a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, manually intensive hands-on environment
- Good knife handling and food preparation skills
- Good IT skills, Inventory management software
Hours: Employees work 5 days per week on a rotational basis between Monday and Saturday.
Working hours 9am to 6pm and 11am to 8pm
