Purpose of the Role:
Camden Court Hotel is currently seeking a dependable and professional Night Auditor / Supervisor to lead our night operations. This key role ensures the safety and satisfaction of our guests, the smooth running of the hotel overnight, and the delivery of the highest standards in service, security, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Cover the Night manager days off and holiday and other absences by overseeing all hotel operations from 11 PM to 7 AM, ensuring the night shift runs smoothly and efficiently.
· Lead, motivate, and supervise the Night Porters team, providing clear communication and support.
· Deliver exceptional guest service, handling any requests, issues, or queries with professionalism and care.
· Act as the main point of contact at reception during the night, ensuring a smooth and detailed handover to the morning team.
· Complete the Night Audit process, including all cash handling and billing/credit closure responsibilities.
· Conduct regular fire and security checks, ensuring all exits and passageways are clear and safe.
· Respond promptly to emergencies and be qualified to administer first aid (or willing to obtain certification).
· Ensure Meeting Excellence setups and cleaning routines are completed to the highest standard.
· Monitor and ensure all allocated tasks for the night team are carried out effectively.
· Maintain a secure environment for all guests and staff, reporting any safety or security concerns immediately.
· Communicate clearly with relevant departments and provide a thorough handover to the Morning Duty Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
· Previous experience in a similar hotel night role or supervisory position.
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
· Excellent attention to detail and guest service skills.
· Working knowledge of Opera or similar hotel systems is desirable.
· First Aid certification (or willingness to complete training).
· A team-oriented approach and a commitment to high standards.
