Red Power Motorsport is a well-established and rapidly growing used car dealership and full-service automotive centre in Dublin 12. Since 2008, we have been providing quality used car sales, parts retail, tyre services, mechanical repairs, and body repair services.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Qualified Motor Mechanic with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience to join our busy workshop.
Please note: Experience in taking initiative, vehicle fault finding and minimum of 3 years motor mechanic experience is required , also Have EU residence permit.
Key responsibilities:
· Performing all usual mechanical duties
· Guiding, advising, and supporting other mechanics
· Diagnosing issues on customer vehicles (excellent diagnostic skills required)
· Explaining diagnoses clearly to other mechanics
· Communicating professionally with customers and treating them with respect as a company representative
· Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and professionalism
· Completing customer repairs in a timely manner
· Verifying that repair standards have been met
What we're looking for (skills & qualifications):
· Fully qualified mechanic
· Experience in supervision is an advantage
· Strong skills in leadership, record keeping, customer service, time management, and problem-solving
· Proven experience in diagnostics and fault-finding
· High standard of vehicle repair work
· Friendly and able to work well with others
· Must have your own tools
· Full, clean driving licence (required)
