Due to continued expansion, Ashgrove Renewables, an SEAI registered One Stop Shop, now has a vacancy for an experienced Home Energy Upgrade Analyst within our Home Energy Upgrades division. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal skills and the highest attention to detail.
This office-based role will work closely with the Sales team to support customers in understanding the eligibility criteria for SEAI Retrofit grants. The analyst will perform U-value calculations, heat loss assessments, and energy consumption modelling to develop tailored retrofit plans, while ensuring a clear and accurate handover to the Scheduling, Design, and Documentation teams to support the delivery and implementation of the proposed works.
This role requires an understanding of U Value Calculations, Heat Loss, Building Energy Ratings (BER) and the various SEAI grant schemes. Comprehensive training will also be provided.
Working under the One Stop Shop scheme, Community Energy Grants, Better Energy Homes, Vacant & Derelict and other grant schemes, you will be working closely with the sales advisors to advise homeowners and professionals on their home upgrade project projects using the information received from architects, engineers and BER assessors..
A key function of this role is to provide home upgrade options that are grant compliant while also providing our customers the best value and ROI.

Analyse BERs in line with current energy upgrade grant criteria
Communicate clearly and promptly with BER assessors as required
Identify and clarify potential solutions with homeowners on projects where necessary
Highlight cost implications of works required for upgrades
Work with Lead Coordinator & Sales Advisors to provide exceptional service for our clients
Review that any project revisions will meet compliance / grant acceptance criteria
Costing of Projects and generation of proposals for clients
Maintain necessary Programme and Project information
Provide regular project updates to Client and internal department leads
Experience and Skills Required:
BER experience is desirable
Degree or experience in an engineering, construction or home energy upgrades role
Excellent communications skills
Good understanding of domestic construction types and U-values
Fluent English
