Loughrey’s Pharmacies are a busy Community Pharmacy group based in
Longford Town and Drumlish, Co. Longford.
We are recruiting a qualified Pharmacy Technician to work full-time in our stores.
Hours of work fall between 8.45 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday, and 8.45am to 6 pm on Saturday, on a rostered basis – 8 hour shifts.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a motivating and busy team.
Main Duties include:
- Preparing and dispensing prescriptions in a professional manner
- Prescription Control and paperwork
- Preparation of Monthly Claims for submission to HSE
- Advise and assist customers with over-the-counter products
Qualification and Skills required:
- IPU Pharmacy Technician Course/Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies
- Experience in Pharmacy Technician Role in a Community Pharmacy preferable
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility in approach to work, and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a busy environment.
Salary: Negotiable – dependent on experience
