Role Overview
We are recruiting a full-time, permanent Staff Nurse to join our team in a small private care facility in
Dublin 16. Reporting to the Care Unit Manager, you will work a structured 4-cycle roster and play a key
role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and guiding the wider care team.

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, holistic nursing care tailored to each resident’s needs
- Act as an advocate for residents, ensuring dignity, respect, and person-centred care
- Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants in delivering effective care
- Collaborate with GPs, multidisciplinary teams, and senior nursing staff
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans and clinical documentation in line with HIQA standards
- Monitor, report, and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Administer medications safely and adhere to all clinical policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support service development
- Assist residents with daily activities, social engagement, and mealtimes where required
- Ensure equipment is used safely and report any faults promptly
Requirements
- Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
- Previous experience in care of the elderly desirable but not essential
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
