The Events Coordinator is responsible for organising and managing events such as the Arts Festival, Galway Races, Electric Picnic, and Galway Christmas Market, along with smaller unit hires. This role also involves working across our cafés when not engaged in events operations.
Key Responsibilities
Event Organisation
- Plan and execute events, coordinating logistics with organisers and working on the ground to ensure smooth and profitable event delivery.
Team Coordination
- Build and roster teams for events, ensuring proper training and staffing while managing day-to-day workload, ensuring Mocha Beans standards.
Setup & Preparation
- Ensure all units are ready with the necessary equipment and conduct thorough pre-event checks.
Supplier Management
- Place orders with suppliers and manage logistics to ensure timely deliveries throughout events.
Cash Management
- Oversee end-of-day cash declarations, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Compliance & Documentation
- Assist management with HSE compliance and all event-related documentation and staffing requirements.
- Report back to management on overall event performance and identify areas for improvement.
Café Support
- Work as part of the café team during periods when events are not in operation.
Pay: €14.00-€17.00 per hour
