Bar & Waitstaff – The Earl Inn
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking Bar & Waitstaff to join our team at The Earl Inn. The successful candidates will provide excellent customer service, ensure guests have an enjoyable experience, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving beverages, including pints, wines, spirits, cocktails, and soft drinks.
- Delivering food and drinks to tables promptly.
- Processing payments and operating the till/POS system.
- Maintaining a clean and organised bar, dining area, and service stations.
- Restocking bar supplies, glassware, and other inventory as required.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties.
- Working as part of a team to provide a high standard of hospitality at all times.
Requirements:
- 2 years or more experience in a bar, pub, restaurant, or hospitality environment is required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
