Temple Recruitment is looking to hire on behalf of our client a Customs Clearance Coordinator. The company® operates European Trailer Services, Bulk Chemical Tanker Service, Freight Forwarding Worldwide, Warehousing, and World Air Freight Service
Working days Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm
Salary is 35-40k + bens + mid-year and end-of-year bonuses.
Job Responsibilities:
· Complete Import and Export Customs Declarations, ENS and PBN in a timely manner across road, sea and air modes of transport.
· Work as a key member of the team between offices to ensure customer cargo is being moved with the greatest of efficiency
· Liaise with other offices and directly with customers where additional documentation or clarity is required.
· Prepare and maintain templates for efficient clearance of regular transactions.
· Maintain records and workflows to ensure compliance with Company’s AEO accreditation.
· Work alongside the Customs Manager to implement audit processes and procedures at entry level to ensure 100% integrity and conformance to AEO standards
· Ensure payment of any VAT or Duties is pre-authorised
Requirements:
· Proven experience in Customs Clearance in Ireland.
· A clear and confident understanding of the Irish Revenue Guidelines in the context of Customs Clearance.
· Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail, especially in payment of VAT or Duties
· Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Experience in dealing DAFM, HSE, Port Health or other state authorities.
· Competency in using warehouse management systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Ability to work independently, show initiative, and drive process improvements.
· Flexibility to manage tasks at both operational and administrative levels.

- Customs flows and documentary requirements
- Incoterms & Tariff classifications
- Transits
- Eur1 and ATR1
- Origin Rules
- Certificates of Origin, Invoice declarations and Approved Supplier
- REX – Registered Exporter system requirements
- Customs Invoices
- Knowledge of VAT Rules
- Customs Warehousing
- Inward Processing
- Duty Payment methods
- Anti-Dumping, Safeguard duties and Quota regulations.
- Application of additional codes e.g. Reach legislation
- Experience with creating CHED’s in TRACES and uploading in INIS an advantage.
- Experience in using Azyra is also an advantage.
- Ability to submit TSS declarations for NI imports an advantage.
Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
