Purpose
The Operations-Quality Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Quality and Operations teams to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while continuously improving our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality control testing, including viscosity, pH, temperature, and fat content analysis.
- Perform fat analysis using the FOSS Analyzer and record results accurately.
- Verify and document equipment calibrations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Complete operational verification checks and monitor adherence to established procedures.
- Maintain quality records and support traceability requirements.
- Identify and report any out-of-specification results or quality concerns.
- Assist with investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within quality and production operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
Skills & Experience:
- Food Science, Food Technology or Dairy Science in a related desirable
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing, food, dairy, or laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of viscosity, pH, temperature, and compositional testing methods.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures and quality documentation.
· Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
· Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures.
· Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Willingness to work standard 8-4.30 hours, but also the flexibility to work other or alternative hours in case of production needs.
