Ross Building and Maintenance Solutions Ltd are a construction and facilities maintenance company specialising in the healthcare sector. We work with public and private sectors offering a range of services from acting as main contractor on large capital projects to completing regular maintenance activities in our clients facilities.
We are currently looking for qualified carpenters and construction foremen to join our team and can offer candidates long term work in St. Finbarr's Hospital Campus, Cork on a competitive salary. We currently have several capital projects on site in St. Finbarr's Hospital Campus and surrounding areas.
For the successful candidate a competitive compensation package is available, depending on experience and suitability for the role. This Role may suit candidates who are based in and around Cork City and wish to be based in one location.
Education, Experience & Skills
Candidates should have 3 + Years Carpentry Experience
Candidates should have strong customer facing skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
Knowledge of both commercial fit out & maintenance troubleshooting is desirable
All applicants must be punctual, hardworking and willing to work as part of a team.
Applicants must have relevant visa permissions and right to work in Ireland in place.
The Role:
Dependent on the successful candidates abilities, duties include;
- Performing 1st fix and 2nd fix duties on commercial and light industrial facilities and public buildings.
- Instillation and repair of Fire Doors and passive fire protection. (Training Provided)
- Completing General Maintenance activities in healthcare facilities.
- Completing various construction activities during minor works projects.
- Completing maintenance call outs (during regular working hours) identifying and rectifying the issue.
Pay: €22.00-€35.00 per hour
