We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our project team based in the Tuam area.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage site engineering activities
Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project programmes
Coordinate effectively with design teams, subcontractors, and project management
Carry out setting out, surveying, and quality assurance checks
Maintain accurate site records and documentation using Procore or similar systems
Support compliance with Health & Safety, ISO standards, and company procedures
Review technical drawings and resolve engineering issues on site
Mentor and support junior engineering staff where required
Assist with project completion, snagging, and handover documentation
Requirements
Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer or Senior Site Engineer role, preferably with a main contractor
Strong experience in setting out, surveying, and temporary works
Good knowledge of Irish construction methods, regulations, and Health & Safety standards
Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
Full clean driving licence
Pay: €44,349.70-€73,882.23 per year
