The SalesForce System Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Rayner's Salesforce platform. The role ensures Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud effectively support business operations, sales execution, customer service, and reporting requirements across global teams.
Working closely with business stakeholders and IT partners, the Salesforce System Administrator will manage system configuration, user support, data quality, reporting, process automation, and platform enhancements while ensuring Salesforce remains aligned to business objectives.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for 12 months based in Drogheda, Ireland with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH).
What You'll Be Doing:
Administer and support Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
Manage user accounts, roles, profiles, permission sets, security settings, and access controls.
Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows, and process automations.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support commercial decision-making and business performance tracking.
Provide first-line and second-line Salesforce user support, troubleshooting system issues and resolving requests efficiently.
Deliver user training and guidance to maximise platform adoption and adherence to best practices.
Perform regular system audits and data quality reviews to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Support Salesforce integrations and coordinate with IT and external vendors when required.
Gather business requirements and implement scalable Salesforce solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to support business continuity.
What Experience & Skills You Will Need:
Essential
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience administering Salesforce in a global business environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience configuring Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Page Layouts, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Security Controls.
- Strong reporting and dashboard development skills.
- Experience managing user support, system troubleshooting, and training activities.
- Experience with data imports, exports, cleansing, and data management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations and AppExchange applications.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of medical devices, healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience working within Agile project environments.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.
