Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Ireland
Hours of work: 45 hours per week
Reports To: Senior Site Engineer / Site Manager
ROLE PROFILE:
The successful candidate will be Setting out and recording as built information using GPS Trimble and Total Station. Providing As-laid drawings for the project to ensure standards are maintained and recorded ensuring the quality of construction. They will manage compliance with material specification and quality testing on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Setting out
- Recording for as-laid drawings
- As-laid drawings
- Monitoring quality of materials and workmanship on site
- Carrying out quality checks- may involve keeping photographic records
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety
- Carrying out daily measure and provide updates on site production using company apps
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
- Experience setting out using Trimble device or similar
- Experience using Microsoft packages
- Driving licence
DESIRED:
- Experience in the Utilities Sector
- Experience of AutoCAD
- Experience using Total Station
- Knowledge of roadworks, working to Road Opening Licence conditions and compliance with requirements of “Guidelines for the Opening, Backfilling and Reinstatement of Openings in Public Roads”
- Experience of using the Maproad online system
QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
ESSENTIAL:
- Civil Engineering related qualification
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The role will require you to travel to sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stays, as and when required.
Due to the nature of our works, there may be a requirement for to cover out of hours works i.e., weekends and on some occasion’s nights. Within reason, you must be willing to cover out of hours works, where necessary.

Pay: €35,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
