Gilmores Kingscourt Mercedes Benz, BYD, Nissan, FUSO Truck and Isuzu dealers are hiring a Service Advisor for our busy Service Department.
You will be joining a family owned and run business with over 70 years in the motor trade, working alongside a highly experienced team to help you settle in and learn.
Experience in a similar role in the motor industry would be a distinct advantage, with additional training provided.
The successful candidate will be;
Outgoing and personable
Customer focused, courteous and a good listener
Somewhat experienced in a customer facing role
Competent in IT skills
Reasonably technically aware
Exceptional in administrative and organisational skills
Flexible and able to work well under pressure
Keen to learn, and undergo brand training
A holder of a full clean EU drivers licence
A great team player
Duties will include;
Booking customers’ cars in for service and repair
Distributing work to the technicians
Advising on additional work recommended, or required, and securing authorisation
Communicating with customers on progress of work and expected costs
Invoicing of jobs
Collecting payments
Maintaining and updating customer data, in line with GDPR regulations
Maintaining good housekeeping standards
Competitive salary dependent on experience.
