Bumblebees Creche and Afterschool service, a long established, Wexford town service, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early years educator to join our established team in Wexford.
We are seeking someone who is caring, reliable and passionate about working with children.
The successful candidate will work as part of our team to provide a welcoming, safe and engaging environment where children are supported to learn and develop through play.
The role will include-
Supporting children's learning, development and well being through play based, child led experiences
Planning activities and experiences based on children's individual interests and needs
Working in line with Aistear and Siolta
Completing observations and relevant documentation
Supporting children's independence and encouraging their individual personalities and abilities
Building positive relationships with children and their families
Maintaining a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
The successful candidate must have-
A minimum QQI level-6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or an equivalent recognised qualification
Previous experience working in an Early Years setting
A good knowledge of Aistear and Siolta
Good communication and teamwork skills
A caring, positive and professional approach
Ability to use their own initiative
Pay: From €15.00 per hour
