About the Role
We are looking for experienced First & Second Fix Carpenter Subcontractors to join our team on a range of residential projects across Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, self-employed carpenters seeking consistent, long-term subcontract work with a professional and well-established contractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality first and second fix carpentry on residential projects.
- Install timber framing, partitions, flooring, roofing, and structural timber as required.
- Complete second fix work including doors, skirting, architraves, staircases, kitchens, wardrobes, and finishing joinery.
- Read and work from drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
- Work efficiently with site managers, other trades, and subcontractors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in both first and second fix carpentry.
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.
- Experience on residential new build, refurbishment, or extension projects.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
- Full, clean driving licence preferred.
- CIS registration or ability to work as a subcontractor.
