We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The role involves managing programme, cost, quality, health & safety, and stakeholder coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
Working closely with site teams, design teams, and commercial management, the Project Manager will lead the project team, manage subcontractors and consultants, and act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Leadership

Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects

Lead and manage site teams, consultants, and subcontractors

Ensure project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and achieved

Act as the primary point of contact with clients and key stakeholders
Programme & Planning-
Develop and manage project programmes in line with contractual and client requirements

Monitor progress and implement corrective actions where required

Chair project and coordination meetings

Ensure key milestones and completion dates are achieved
Commercial & Cost Management-
Work closely with the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveying team to manage project costs

Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost performance

Support subcontract procurement and commercial decision-making
-
Review and approve valuations and payment applications where required
Quality Management-
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards

Implement quality control procedures and inspection regimes

Manage snagging, inspections, and close-out activities
-
Ensure project documentation is completed for handover
Health & Safety-
Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures

Promote a positive health and safety culture on site

Ensure risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work are implemented

Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to maintain site safety standards
Design & Technical Coordination-
Coordinate design development and manage information flow between consultants and site teams

Review drawings and technical information to ensure buildability and compliance

Manage design changes and technical queries
Reporting & Administration-
Provide regular progress, programme, and performance reports to senior management

Ensure accurate site records, reports, and documentation are maintained

Support project close-out and handover processes
Qualifications & Experience-
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry

Strong background in main contracting

Residential Experience Essential

Experience managing multidisciplinary site teams

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
