Role Overview
As a Fully Qualified Electrician (preferably SEAI) at JM Energy Savings, you will play a key role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Solar PV systems across domestic, commercial, and agricultural sites. You will work both independently and alongside our roofing and installation teams to complete projects to the highest industry standards.
Essential Requirements:
· Fully qualified electrician (preferably SEAI) with a valid FETAC Craft Certificate
· Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety procedures
· Current Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, and Working at Height certifications
· Full, clean driving licence
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
· Willingness to travel to job sites across Ireland
· Eligibility to work in Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
· Install and commission Solar PV systems in accordance with Safe Electric and SEAI Code of Practice standards
· Conduct electrical inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance
· Diagnose and repair electrical faults in solar PV systems
· Use specialised tools to verify and document system performance
· Communicate clearly with homeowners about work being completed and changes to scope
· Support lead installers and collaborate with roofing teams to deliver projects on schedule
· Ensure high-quality workmanship within designated timeframes
· Prepare, record, and submit all required project and grant documentation
· Follow JM Energy’s Health & Safety protocols at all times
· Perform additional duties as required
