Job Title: Senior Manager – Early Years Services (Meath/North Dublin)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of Early Years services across the Meath and North Dublin region. This is a senior leadership position suited to an individual with strong operational, regulatory, and people management experience within the Early Years sector.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early learning and care in line with Tusla regulations and national frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and professional support to Service Managers and leadership teams across multiple settings
- Ensure all services meet and maintain compliance with Tusla Early Years Regulations and inspection requirements
- Promote high-quality practice aligned with Aistear and Síolta
- Oversee operational performance, including staffing, rosters, ratios, occupancy, and budget management
- Support recruitment, induction, performance management, and staff development
- Lead quality improvement plans and follow-up actions post-inspection
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff, external agencies, and regulatory bodies
- Ensure safeguarding, child protection, health & safety, and risk management procedures are consistently implemented
- Contribute to organisational strategy, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Essential Criteria
- Minimum Level 7/8 qualification in Early Childhood Education, Leadership, Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years’ management experience within the Early Years sector
- In-depth knowledge of Tusla regulations, inspections, and compliance processes
- Strong understanding of Aistear and Síolta and their implementation in practice
- Proven experience managing multiple services and leading teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence and access to own car
