Skilled Operative Required. Limerick
Full time Mon – Fri (39h week)
Modulacc is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of portable cabins and steel framed modular buildings. As a result of our continued development and growth we are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified Skilled Operative to fulfil a permanent role.
The position involves being an integral part of a team working closely together to meet production plans as well as strict quality, safety and efficiency objectives.
The Portable Cabin and Modular Building manufacturing process has various elements. You will be involved in the following processes:
Carpentry,
Cleaning
Flat pack assembly
The following key attributes and competencies are required:
Highly motivated and enthusiastic team player
Keen to learn new skills and disciplines
The ability to follow instructions but also be competent enough to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills.
A ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude
High attention to detail in relation to quality and output
Flexible to the needs of the business
Be responsible and take ownership of your work
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures at times.
Experience
Coaching on the processes will be provided but a minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or trade environment is essential.
Carpentry
High manual dexterity.
Up to date manual handling card.
Basic hand & Power tool skills are required.
Abrasive wheels training desirable.
